Beginning with green.

Who doesn’t love green? I find myself saying this often. People tend to be polarized when it comes to colors such as yellow and blue… but rarely green. Beside the staple neutrals, this is the paint color clients request most often. There is such a wonderful range of green, it never gets old!

You can always find a shade that works. Green complements many surfaces and wood colors, but most importantly, it’s gentle on the eyes. It’s natural, fresh, a symbol of health and prosperity, ahhhhhhh. Can you tell I’m a a fan? Here are some great examples…

In the past decade, “Lime” green has become a decor staple, though the green of the moment has shifted to a truer shade with less yellow.

I’m still clinging on to my personal number one, Benjamin Moore pale avocado- the color that gives my office a healthy glow. Though I suffer through long Wisconsin winters, I have a touch of the tropics in my home :) Here are a few of Color Zen’s favorite greens by Benjamin Moore (there are many!)…

What is your favorite shade?
